“Sembrar la duda: indicios sobre las representaciones indígenas en Colombia” is an exhibition that aims to establish a dialogue that questions and renews the narratives around indigenous cultural production. In the exhibition it will be possible to find works by Carlos Rojas, Antonio Caro, Beatriz González, Luz Lizarazo and Carlos Alfonso
“The exhibition proposes to reflect on the role of indigenous cultural production from notions such as identity, modernity, the photographic image and the sacred within the history of art. The 850 pieces that make up the exhibition seek to generate a dialogue with the thoughts of past and current indigenous people of the country. The curatorial research is complemented by a “living curatorship” carried out by indigenous communities, which is an alternative to generate a place of enunciation from the museum."
The exhibition will be open from October 7 to April 15, 2024.
